1. Who we are
Fantasy Hub ("we", "us") operates the website fantasyhub.app — a community platform for gaming, tech and fantasy content. For any privacy-related questions or requests, contact us at contact@fantasyhub.app.
2. What data we collect
- Account data — when you register: email address, username, password (stored as a salted hash, never in plain text), and optionally a display name and avatar.
- Content you create — articles, wiki edits, forum posts, comments, reactions, uploaded screenshots and images.
- Usage data (only with your consent) — via Google Analytics 4: pages visited, approximate location (country/city level, IP addresses are anonymized), device and browser type. See our Cookie Policy.
- Technical logs — server logs and error reports (via Sentry) that may include IP addresses and browser information, kept for debugging and security.
- Payment data — if you purchase a stream slot, payment is processed entirely by Stripe. We never receive or store your card details; we only receive a confirmation of payment.
3. Why we process it (legal bases)
- Contract — providing your account, hosting your content, processing purchases.
- Consent — analytics cookies and (in future) personalized advertising. You can withdraw consent at any time (see Cookie Policy).
- Legitimate interest — site security, abuse prevention (rate limiting, CAPTCHA), error monitoring.
4. Third-party services we use
- Vercel — website hosting (USA/EU)
- Neon — database hosting (USA)
- Google Analytics 4 — visitor statistics, only after consent, with IP anonymization
- Google AdSense — advertising (when active); without consent only non-personalized ads are shown
- Cloudflare — DNS and Turnstile CAPTCHA (bot protection)
- Cloudinary — image hosting for uploads
- Resend — transactional emails (verification, password reset)
- Sentry — error monitoring
- Stripe — payment processing
- Twitch / YouTube — embedded players on some pages; these services may set their own cookies when you interact with them
Some providers are located in the United States. Transfers are covered by the EU standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, as applicable.
5. How long we keep data
- Account data — until you delete your account.
- Public content (posts, wiki edits, comments) — until deleted by you or moderators.
- Analytics data — up to 14 months (Google Analytics default).
- Server/error logs — up to 90 days.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR (and similar laws), you have the right to access, correct, export and delete your personal data, restrict or object to its processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email contact@fantasyhub.app. We respond within 30 days.
7. Children
Fantasy Hub is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the site evolves (for example, when new features or services are added). The "last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
